• Step 1: Gather your materials

To get started, you'll need a few key items: rolling papers, cannabis flower or hemp, cardboard filters, grinder and fire. You can find all of these items at your local dispensary.

Now that you have the basic material, it is important to choose the icing on the cake that you want to add. This can be hashish or any extract you can easily mold. On our case we chose Live Rosin from Slite23

• Step 2: Grind your cannabis

Finely ground weed will make your regular joe burn more evenly, so it's important to take the time to grind all the material you’ll use. You can use a grinder or just break up the buds with your fingers. If you are a lover of design and function as we are, you’ll love the Klip HØJ which not only looks mind blowing. Take sticks and seeds out before putting it on the grinder and use the medium strain on your grinder and your flower will be perfect for a joint.

• Step 3: Form the cannabis

Remove your grinded weed from the Klip HØJ and into your  Vibes King Size rolling papers. Now roll the cardboard as a filter and add it to one end. Use your fingers to spread it evenly along the paper. You can even drop your ganja as if you were Salt Bae seasoning a juicy steak.

• Step 4: The donut jelly

Once the cannabis is shredded and placed, add the jelly. The key is to make a small dough roll or snake. That's right, as if it were clay or resin created by cannabis artisans. Try to make this roll as homogenous  as possible in width and cover the  length of the joint, as it will effectively be the jelly of the donut.

• Step 5: Roll and shape the donut

Hold the rolling paper with the cannabis inside between your thumb and forefinger. Use your other hand to roll the paper back and forth, shaping the cannabis into a tight, even cylinder.

• Step 6: Close the joint

When the cannabis is evenly distributed and the joint has the desired thickness, lick the glue strip of the rolling paper and close the joint by pressing the edges together starting from the filter. This step is probably the most difficult one as it tests your ability to keep the weed compactly wrapped without dropping or tearing the paper. This step really tells on your craftsmanship skills. There are master craftsmen who manage to do this with one hand or while holding a conversation.

Finally,  burn the leftover paper on the end and you’ll be ready.

• Step 7: Lucky seven light up and enjoy

Once lit, observe how the donut appears as the concentrate melts. Wait for a couple of ash drops if it doesn’t appear right away.

Little by little, you’ll begin to gain more skills in your cannabis crafts. The potency of the donut increases in power without a doubt, especially when you feel the extra flavor of the chosen jelly.
